Section 13
Main Conditions of Land Sale and Distribution
: (1) Lands to be sold and distributed in accordance with this Act shall be deemed to have been sold and distributed subject to the following restrictions -
(a) If the family or person who gets the land does not prove the condition as per section 12, they will leave the land later and will not get any concession or compensation for it,
(b) To vacate the land within the time limit set by the Government of Nepal, if the land is required to maintain the forest or forest boundary or for the protection of rhinoceros. But the government of Nepal will give compensation according to the prevailing law for clearing the land in that way.
(2) If the commission determines that the condition of clause (a) of sub-section (1) has been violated during the investigation, it may order the confiscation of the land. An appeal can be filed in the High Court within 35 days on that order.
